Star Trek envisioned a world beyond capitalism, racism and oppression where technology is harnessed to end all forms of exploitation and injustice – its lessons remain as relevant as ever.

Is this totally Fiction --- will it ever be possible for an average human being to unanimously accept such a world? Can education and technology simply change innate human nature?
Will big data and AI enforce all these expectations? Like predicting crimes through data analysis (a variation of ‘Minority Report’)? Maybe a kind of intervention for people considered bad-actors -- the way we do for newly-turned alcoholics / drug addicts?
With great power comes greater abuse. So, will that also be true for an AI overseer? Will bots abuse their power because they aim to try and be more 'human'?
What’s your fictional take on our future or near-future society? Comment with one optimistic future since everyone easily suggests a dystopian future, spreading doomsday tomorrow (or is it next weekend).
