The Nerds & Geeks shall inherit the world
In the time of the ancients, they fed Gods and Goddesses, then they fed the dragons and giants. Soon, it was decided to force feed geese, pigs, cattle, babies, until the media and the establishment decided to force-feed all the people with specific data.
Among them, artists and writers decided to be freethinkers and be exceptions to the norm. Cool and unconditioned does not necessarily mean they are liked. Some of them are downright insufferable.
Then the ‘squares’, the nerds and geeks came along and wondered what is so special about art and poetry. Couldn’t anyone do it? After all, people with Literature or Fine Arts degrees don’t necessarily have a worthwhile career in their desired field.
Now it seems nerds and techies are determined to prove any idiot can be an artist or a writer.
